At any rate, pulling ourselves together…
the second day of Dolpa in NYC!

This day’s main event was the “Dolpa Market”.

Available for sale were the “Kimono Set for Super Dollfie” and the “Designer Collection: Labyrinth in the Deep Forest Dress Set for SD13”, made and prepared in Japan, as well as other items, in particular clothing items made by designers from various dealer groups in Japan.

American SD fans and Japanese SD fans… I wonder if the most popular items will be different?

The answer is…. everyone is the same!

“Which outfit will suit my SD best??” “I have to buy something for the SD I left at home!”

Hands tightly gripping their shopping baskets, envisioning how their SDs will look in each outfit… this truly is a sight we can see no matter where we go!

We also held an application lottery for fans to purchase YoSD Kira, Sara, Nana and Megu who first made their debut at Dolpa 19.

These girls were there to show their sweet smiling faces to their future owners.
Right now we’re in the middle of tallying things up at VolksUSA.

We will contact those lucky owners about welcoming their girls home, so please wait just a little longer!

After the shopping, next came the tea party.

Some owners hurried to change their dolls into the new outfits they’d gotten, and enjoyed themselves taking photos in the photo booth; other owners consulted with the SD doctor at the beauty salon; but everyone enjoyed the afternoon hours however they liked.

And in the afternoon of the second day of Dolpa,
the next event was to begin.

This was the “Super Dollfie Makeup and Maintenance Workshop”.

Many owners attended the workshop this time round as well.
Everyone, after you listen to the lecturer’s lesson, it’s time to challenge yourself!
Those of you making a start down the long road to mastering the art of SD makeup, good luck! Do your best!

In the position of lecturer were SD Doctor Oda, MIKEY, aone, with our makeup staff assistants providing assistance. They’re definitely looking forward to what masterpieces their students will show to them next time!

And so, the end of these enjoyable two days had finally come upon us.

It was Sunday evening.
The time had come for everyone to once again brave the unbelievable heat of the New York streets, and then return to their All-American hometowns.

For those of us at Volks, coming from the distant country of Japan, being able to hold an event like this in America’s magical city, New York, is truly like something out of a dream.

We hope to be able to return to New York again.
And we hope to be able to spend time together with all of you who love SD again.
